Spectators: 7240 (Terracing: 5432, Seating: 1665, VIP seats: 143) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Tadeu Siqueira took the kick off in the first half of the match. When Macarani's Albertinho Terra in the 2nd minute got a chance for a shot 2nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Mundahu's goalie prevented a goal. In the 5th minute Albertinho Terra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oséas Couto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Paulinho Quirino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tadeu Siqueira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Víktor Alvarenga managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mundahu's supporters rose to their feet, but Víktor Alvarenga was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Paulinho Quirino breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Tadeu Siqueira came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Mundahu fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tadeu Siqueira couldn't finish the play. Paulinho Quirino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tadeu Siqueira in the 17th minute of play. In the 19th minute Mundahu were awarded a corner. Eliézer Loyola went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 23rd minute, Norberto Soares ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Oséas Couto was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. 30 minutes into the match, Mundahu's goal looked a bit too open when Albertinho Terra came free, but Oséas Couto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Víktor Trigo hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. In the 35th match minute, Mundahu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eurico Medeiros to maneuver through the defense. Eurico Medeiros struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Paulinho Quirino didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mundahu. Norberto Soares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oséas Couto having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Albertinho Terra was the one to do the kick off. Eurico Medeiros scored 1-1 in the 62nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Paulinho Quirino, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Oséas Couto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Albertinho Terra, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. In the 66th match minute, Mundahu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fernandão Paraíba to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Mundahu's Eurico Medeiros got a free kick in the 82nd minute. If Albertinho Terra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
