Skibiriba's supporters crossed their fingers, but Amauri Carvalho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Matheus Mota showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dênis Godoi in the 77th minute of the match. In the 81st minute, Cláudio Freire made a precise shot to the right of Matheus Mota. Palmeiras Poty's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Claudinei Corrêa in the 84th minute of play forced Skibiriba's goalkeeper Ernesto Pires to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
