Ernesto Pires stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Washington Corrêa's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. Dênis Godoi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dênis Godoi in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kléber Lopez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 42 minutes into the match, Toledo Esporte Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Amauri Carvalho came free, but Kléber Lopez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Skibiriba had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
