With his leg Enrique Prestes managed to avoid a goal in the 6thth minute, when Prime Group FC's Silas de Castro fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 8 minutes, Silas de Castro made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Atecubanos's Enrique Prestes tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The crowd rose to their feet as Prime Group FC's Cléber Novaes slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Enrique Prestes. That made the score 2-0 after 17 minutes of play. After 20 played minutes Atecubanos got a freekick which was hit by Luís Guilherme Catarinense. After 24 played minutes Prime Group FC got a freekick which was hit by Ulysses Prado. Enrique Prestes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silas de Castro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Oliver Krosby had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Silas de Castro struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Enrique Prestes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Prime Group FC. Moisés Meirelles kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Silas de Castro made a kick off. When the match had gone on for 53 minutes, Silas de Castro put it in 4-0 from a short distance just to the right of Enrique Prestes. If Cléber Novaes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Enrique Prestes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Silas de Castro, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Silas de Castro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 62 minutes, Silas de Castro made it 5-0 with a short kick to the right side. Atecubanos's Enrique Prestes tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Atecubanos's Enrique Prestes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silas de Castro in the 66th minute of play. Percy Cearense fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enrique Prestes having to interfere. In the 71st minute, Silas de Castro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Enrique Prestes was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. After having played for 74 minutes, Silas de Castro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Prime Group FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Silas de Castro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Silas de Castro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Prime Group FC's Percy Cearense got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. António Bernardes came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by Atecubanos's Gualter Soeiro. But to his dismay, Gualter Soeiro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-1. Enrique Prestes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Silas de Castro went, in the 87th minute, to the upper right corner, 7-1 was the resulting score. Enrique Prestes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Silas de Castro's shot from short distance in the 91st minute. Percy Cearense sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Prime Group FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
