Silas de Castro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 25 minutes into the game, Prime Group FC's Silas de Castro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Walmir Paranaense made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. If Silas de Castro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Percy Cearense might have been able to make a better finish in the 28th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Walmir Paranaense. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Percy Cearense ran back to his position shaking his head. After having played for 31 minutes, Silas de Castro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Prime Group FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Silas de Castro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Walmir Paranaense showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cléber Novaes in the 34th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Prime Group FC's Percy Cearense got a free kick in the 42nd minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

51 minutes into the match, Umburaninha's goal looked a bit too open when Silas de Castro came free, but Walmir Paranaense reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Percy Cearense struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Walmir Paranaense didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Prime Group FC. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Silas de Castro in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Walmir Paranaense saved Umburaninha from getting behind. If Silas de Castro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Percy Cearense came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Prime Group FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Percy Cearense couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Prime Group FC booed when Umburaninha was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Murillo Travassos didn't get a good kick on the ball. The long shot by Erasmo Chaves in the 66th minute really tested António Bernardes's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. In the 68th minute, Oliver Krosby hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 71 minutes into the match, Umburaninha's Nuno Camargo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that António Bernardes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some careless play in the Umburaninha defense, Percy Cearense kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Walmir Paranaense. The Umburaninha fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Walmir Paranaense should have stopped the shot. Percy Cearense fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Walmir Paranaense having to interfere. If Cléber Novaes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 82 minutes into the game, Umburaninha's Nuno Camargo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. António Bernardes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-1. In the 85th minute, Cléber Novaes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Silas de Castro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Walmir Paranaense read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 87th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nestor Cunha during the 88th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Prime Group FC booed when Umburaninha was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nestor Cunha didn't get a good kick on the ball. Walmir Paranaense showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Silas de Castro in the 92nd minute of the match. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Prime Group FC fully deserved thier win.
