After some careless play in the Umburaninha defense, Luiz Guilherme Mesquita kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Walmir Paranaense. The Umburaninha fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Walmir Paranaense should have stopped the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luiz Guilherme Mesquita in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Walmir Paranaense saved Umburaninha from getting behind. In the 27th minute, Marcelo Loureiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Walmir Paranaense showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luiz Guilherme Mesquita in the 28th minute of the match. If Gabriel Monteiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Walmir Paranaense didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Luiz Guilherme Mesquita went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Luizinho Sá received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Walmir Paranaense tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 40th minute Luiz Guilherme Mesquita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Walmir Paranaense saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 41 played minutes Umburaninha got a freekick which was hit by Jairo Soeiro. Enéas Penha's late challenge caught a Umburaninha's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Enéas Penha helped the player get up and apologised. Enéas Penha kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. 44 minutes into the game, Nuno Camargo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Evandro Figueiredo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Doriva Massa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Evandro Figueiredo having to interfere.

A hard shot by Hernani Mandrak from long distance, 58 minutes into the match, got Walmir Paranaense's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Gabriel Monteiro struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Walmir Paranaense didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Marvai SC. In the 65th match minute, Umburaninha was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erasmo Chaves to maneuver through the defense.
