Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Zé Pedro Senna took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 4th minute, one of Tejessuoca:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Tejessuoca. A hard shot 8 in the game by Manoel Mendes from a close distance when the talented Faustão Figueiredo managed to make a qualified save. Tejessuoca's players were relieved. Zé Pedro Senna fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Faustão Figueiredo having to interfere. Atalho SS's Paulinho Aguiar got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Naldo Reis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fernão Machado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zé Pedro Senna struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Faustão Figueiredo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Atalho SS. After a defensive mix-up in Tejessuoca's zone, Zé Pedro Senna stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Faustão Figueiredo came out of the goal and Zé Pedro Senna tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Zé Pedro Senna recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Zé Pedro Senna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Atalho SS's Zé Pedro Senna slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Faustão Figueiredo. That made the score 2-0 after 37 minutes of play. Zé Pedro Senna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Faustão Figueiredo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Mathias Cunha managed to get in a good position for a shot. Atalho SS's supporters rose to their feet, but Mathias Cunha was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Faustão Figueiredo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Christian Leme was the one to do the kick off. Paulinho Aguiar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Faustão Figueiredo having to interfere. Faustão Figueiredo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paulinho Aguiar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Tejessuoca booed when Atalho SS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Baltazar Quirino didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christian Leme in the 82nd minute of play forced Atalho SS's goalkeeper Naldo Reis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Atalho SS's Paulinho Aguiar in the 84th minute got a chance for a shot 84th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Tejessuoca's goalie prevented a goal. Paulinho Aguiar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 87thth minute of the game Paulinho Aguiar who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tejessuoca's Faustão Figueiredo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Tejessuoca's Faustão Figueiredo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zé Pedro Senna in the 89th minute of play. Faustão Figueiredo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zé Pedro Senna in the 94th minute of the match. When the referee ended the match the Atalho SS players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
