Spectators: 6655 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1655, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Vivaldo Berger kicked off to start the match. In the 5th minute, Ricardo Nóbrega got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 9 minutes into the game, Deivid de Queiroz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Oloialermong's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Atlético RS the free kick. A collision led to Oloialermong getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Deivid de Queiroz hit a great ball. 11 minutes into the match, Atlético RS's Abelardo Neiva sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cléberson Eger narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Thanks to some nice moves Ricardo Nóbrega could shoot a difficult shot in the 15th minute, which Manoel Félix however easily saved by the left post. When Abelardo Neiva came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Atlético RS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Abelardo Neiva couldn't finish the play. If Célio Félix had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 19th minute, Deivid de Queiroz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Abelardo Neiva recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cléberson Eger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Célio Félix, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Abelardo Neiva struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Cléberson Eger didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Atlético RS. If Célio Félix had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 34th minute, Washington Moreira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 35 minutes into the match, Atlético RS's Marcel Vale broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Ricardo Nóbrega recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Célio Félix stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Célio Félix in the 56th minute of play forced Oloialermong's goalkeeper Cléberson Eger to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ricardo Nóbrega recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 68 minutes into the game, Hélio Silva was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Atlético RS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Oloialermong the free kick. After 68 played minutes Atlético RS got a freekick which was hit by Hélio Silva. Ricardo Nóbrega scored 1-0 in the 70th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Manoel Félix, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 73 played minutes Oloialermong got a freekick which was hit by Washington Moreira. Vivaldo Berger's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Manoel Félix read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 78th minute of play. After having played for 80 minutes, Ricardo Nóbrega managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Oloialermong's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ricardo Nóbrega was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Marcel Vale fell near the penalty area in the 83rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Atlético RS's protests and gave Marcel Vale a yellow card for diving instead. Marcel Vale hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Manoel Félix took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ricardo Nóbrega, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 94 minutes, Abelardo Neiva took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Cléberson Eger to make any attempt to save it. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
