Spectators: 5005 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 5) Oiteiros's Diguinho Xavier started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Diguinho Xavier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raimundo de Mendonça having to interfere. In the 5th minute, César Paranaense got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 8 minutes into the match, Lenzi FC's goal looked a bit too open when Tiago Carneiro came free, but Raimundo de Mendonça reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 10th minute Diguinho Xavier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raimundo de Mendonça saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Diguinho Xavier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raimundo de Mendonça having to interfere. If Diguinho Xavier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Honorio Remigio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Raimundo de Mendonça tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Oiteiros booed when Lenzi FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felipe Matos didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Diguinho Xavier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Emílio Soares charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Emílio Soares the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Lenzi FC getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Emílio Soares hit a great ball. Oiteiros's Kléber Macedo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Oiteiros from getting a goal against them. After having played for 35 minutes, Honorio Remigio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Oiteiros's supporters crossed their fingers, but Honorio Remigio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Honorio Remigio spun around in front of the goal 37 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Lenzi FC's goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diguinho Xavier in the 41st minute of play forced Lenzi FC's goalkeeper Raimundo de Mendonça to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Diguinho Xavier might have been able to make a better finish in the 43rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Raimundo de Mendonça. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Diguinho Xavier ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 46th minute, Diguinho Xavier ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Raimundo de Mendonça was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. The Lenzi FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Oiteiros were winning 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Guilherme de Medeiros stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 58th minute, Diguinho Xavier got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. César Paranaense kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Oiteiros's Kléber Macedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aníbal Cabral in the 61st minute of play. Diguinho Xavier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raimundo de Mendonça having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guilherme de Medeiros in the 75th minute of play forced Oiteiros's goalkeeper Kléber Macedo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 81 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Lenzi FC! In the 90th minute, Diguinho Xavier made a precise shot to the right of Raimundo de Mendonça. Lenzi FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Tiago Carneiro hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. When Cafu Custódio fell near the penalty area in the 96th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lenzi FC's protests and gave Cafu Custódio a yellow card for diving instead. Oiteiros's supporters stood up full of expectation in the 98th minute of the game, when Perivaldo Marinho after an extraordinary solo performance found himself with a golden opportunity in front of Lenzi FC's goal. Perivaldo Marinho was unfortunally a little to anxious and the ball went outside the goal. Oiteiros's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
