Nilmar da Costa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Deivid de Queiroz in the 4th minute of play. In the 6th minute Vivaldo Berger shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nilmar da Costa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Boreby's Nilmar da Costa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save Boreby from getting a goal against them. Cléberson Eger showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jarbas Proença in the 9th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice moves Ricardo Nóbrega could shoot a difficult shot in the 12th minute, which Nilmar da Costa however easily saved by the left post. Boreby's Nilmar da Costa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vivaldo Berger in the 14th minute of play. Osvaldinho Santos's late challenge caught a Oloialermong's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Osvaldinho Santos helped the player get up and apologised. After 15 played minutes Boreby got a freekick which was hit by Osvaldinho Santos. After 18 minutes of play, Oloialermong's Ricardo Nóbrega made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nilmar da Costa was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Vivaldo Berger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Boreby's Nilmar da Costa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Boreby from getting a goal against them. Jarbas Proença sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Oloialermong getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Paulão Vargas hit a great ball. 40 minutes into the match, Boreby's Jarbas Proença sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cléberson Eger narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Nilmar da Costa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ricardo Nóbrega in the 47th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jarbas Proença was the one to do the kick off. Ricardo Nóbrega took the ball and in the 56 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nilmar da Costa. Nilmar da Costa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. In the 59th match minute, Oloialermong was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paulão Vargas to maneuver through the defense. Deivid de Queiroz took the ball and in the 64 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nilmar da Costa. Nilmar da Costa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Boreby's Jarbas Proença got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cléberson Eger came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by Boreby's Vivaldo Cardoso. But to his dismay, Vivaldo Cardoso quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. When Jarbas Proença fell near the penalty area in the 71st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Boreby's protests and gave Jarbas Proença a yellow card for diving instead. Jarbas Proença hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. When the match clock showed 73 minutes, the score became 5-1 when Vivaldo Berger sped through Boreby's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Nilmar da Costa. Osvaldinho Santos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nilmar da Costa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vivaldo Berger, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Vivaldo Cardoso fell near the penalty area in the 80th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Boreby's protests and gave Vivaldo Cardoso a yellow card for diving instead. Vivaldo Cardoso kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Nilmar da Costa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ricardo Nóbrega, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Boreby's João Paulo Diniz got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Vivaldo Cardoso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jarbas Proença fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cléberson Eger having to interfere. 95 minutes into the match, Boreby's goal looked a bit too open when Vivaldo Berger came free, but Nilmar da Costa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Oloialermong's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
