COXA DE MINHOCA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kléber Donato was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 8th minute of the match, Kléber Donato tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Geraldo Carvalho saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Vítor Ortiz scored 0-1 in the 12th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Diamantino Donatello, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Kléber Donato might have been able to make a better finish in the 17th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Geraldo Carvalho. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kléber Donato ran back to his position shaking his head. 20 minutes into the match, Tauarua's goalkeeper Geraldo Carvalho had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Osvaldo Custódio. In the 25th minute, Sílvio Luiz Meireles ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Diamantino Donatello was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. After 28 played minutes Tauarua got a freekick which was hit by Paulinho Marques. Diamantino Donatello came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by Tauarua's Vítor Ortiz. But to his dismay, Vítor Ortiz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Elivélton Vale recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kléber Donato was the one to do the kick off. Vítor Ortiz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Diamantino Donatello tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 59 minutes into the match, Tauarua's goal looked a bit too open when Osvaldo Custódio came free, but Geraldo Carvalho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With his leg Diamantino Donatello managed to avoid a goal in the 62ndth minute, when Tauarua's Elivélton Vale fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 63 minutes into the match, COXA DE MINHOCA's goal looked a bit too open when Vítor Ortiz came free, but Diamantino Donatello reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 66 minutes, Delfim Paes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the COXA DE MINHOCA and the Tauarua players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 66 played minutes COXA DE MINHOCA got a freekick which was hit by Delfim Paes. Vítor Ortiz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Giovani Moreno fell near the penalty area in the 68th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored COXA DE MINHOCA's protests and gave Giovani Moreno a yellow card for diving instead. In the 68th match minute, COXA DE MINHOCA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Giovani Moreno to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Tauarua's Vivaldo Castro tried to score from far away in the 69th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Elivélton Vale recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Kléber Donato had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 97th minute Kléber Donato shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Geraldo Carvalho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tauarua's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
