When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Vítor Ortiz made a kick off. Paulinho Marques kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. After 56 minutes, Carlos Eduardo Sena mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tauarua and the Pereba F C players grew even worse after the yellow card. Hílton Castro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Celso Amorim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elivélton Vale in the 67th minute of play. The Pereba F C fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Celso Amorim should have stopped the shot. Vivaldo Castro kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Tauarua's zone, Amílton Paraíba stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Geraldo Carvalho came out of the goal and Amílton Paraíba tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Vítor Ortiz struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Celso Amorim didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tauarua. 84 minutes into the match, Elivélton Vale notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Pereba F C's Celso Amorim. Celso Amorim was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to Tauarua getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Elivélton Vale hit a great ball. Vítor Ortiz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Celso Amorim having to interfere. When Elivélton Vale came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Tauarua fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Elivélton Vale couldn't finish the play. Pereba F C's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
