If Jo Seco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 23 minutes into the match, COXA DE MINHOCA's Kléber Donato sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Feliks Harbaszewski narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Diamantino Donatello showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Olavo Nogueira, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Jo Seco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Diamantino Donatello made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jo Seco in the 31st minute of play. 35 minutes into the match, COXA DE MINHOCA's goal looked a bit too open when Dida Queiroz came free, but Diamantino Donatello reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Diamantino Donatello didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jo Seco went, in the 44th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jo Seco to make the kick off. After 52 played minutes COXA DE MINHOCA got a freekick which was hit by Giovani Moreno. 53 minutes into the match, COXA DE MINHOCA's goal looked a bit too open when Jo Seco came free, but Diamantino Donatello reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fabrício Pinheiro took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 55th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Diamantino Donatello. COXA DE MINHOCA's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Dida Queiroz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dida Queiroz struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Diamantino Donatello didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Corinthians Paulistano. In the 70th minute, Corinthians Paulistano's Jo Seco dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-2. If Osvaldo Custódio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Feliks Harbaszewski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Osvaldo Custódio in the 92nd minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Kléber Donato's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Feliks Harbaszewski was relentless in the 96th minute of the game. When the match was over Corinthians Paulistano could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than COXA DE MINHOCA throughout the match.
