The crowd rose to their feet as CTMM - FDFDF's Cristiano Lucas slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Geraldo Carvalho. That made the score 2-0 after 31 minutes of play. Geraldo Carvalho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristiano Lucas in the 35th minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cristiano Lucas to strike the kick off in the second half. Chicão Teles showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulinho Marques, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. 57 minutes into the match, Elivélton Vale had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Chicão Teles. Elivélton Vale was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 80th minute. Tauarua's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. The referee ignored CTMM - FDFDF's protests and gave Adelino Branco a yellow card for diving instead. Vítor Ortiz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When the referee blew the final whistle, CTMM - FDFDF could leave the field as winners, despite Tauarua having more of the ball for most of the match.
