In the 46th minute, Tauarua's Vítor Ortiz ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Artur Tinoco. Artur Tinoco yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0.

Silvério Mesquita struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Geraldo Carvalho didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. Artur Tinoco stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Elivélton Vale's shot from short distance in the 99th minute. Paris Saint-Germain FC's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Tauarua had won, even though Paris Saint-Germain FC had held more of the ball.
