Jazz Messengers FC's Alex Vianna played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jo Seco in the 16th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Olavo Nogueira's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alex Vianna was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. Corinthians Paulistano's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Júlio Muniz in the 89th minute. The corner ended in Fabrício Pinheiro almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Jazz Messengers FC's Alex Vianna did a great save.
