Gil Teixeira came out of the goal and Antônio Teixeira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 23 minutes, Gildo Donatello managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Napas FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gildo Donatello was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 26 minutes into the match, EVERTON 1989 FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gildo Donatello came free, but Gil Teixeira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Chico Ortiz kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. In the 27th match minute, Napas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedro Augusto Mesquita to maneuver through the defense. After 29 minutes, Nilson Bezerra made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. Napas FC's Erivaldo Pombal tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 33rdth minute of the game Gildo Donatello who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but EVERTON 1989 FC's Gil Teixeira was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 34 minutes into the game, Chico Ortiz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. EVERTON 1989 FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Napas FC the free kick. In the 34th minute, Chico Ortiz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gildo Donatello in the 41st minute of play forced EVERTON 1989 FC's goalkeeper Gil Teixeira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Erivaldo Pombal made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tony Toledo in the 45th minute.

Gildo Donatello received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Gil Teixeira came out and tried to block the shot, but Gildo Donatello slotted it home off the left post making it 3-1 in the 57th minute. Erivaldo Pombal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Naldo Mangueira, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Napas FC's Antônio Teixeira quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Almir Loureiro, made in the 66th minute of the game. In the 67th minute the ball was on its way in behind EVERTON 1989 FC's goalkeeper Gil Teixeira, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Napas FC's Gildo Donatello got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gil Teixeira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gildo Donatello in the 74th minute of play. Antônio Teixeira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, EVERTON 1989 FC's Gil Teixeira got control of the ball when Arí Melo tried to sneak it across the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gildo Donatello in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gil Teixeira saved EVERTON 1989 FC from getting behind. If Gildo Donatello had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antônio Teixeira in the 84th minute of play forced EVERTON 1989 FC's goalkeeper Gil Teixeira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gil Teixeira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gildo Donatello in the 86th minute of the match. 87 minutes had been played when some careless play by EVERTON 1989 FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Nico Quirino was slow to take the kick. During this time Napas FC's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Nico Quirino got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Gil Teixeira quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. A sloppy throw-in by Miguel Leão in the 89th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Napas FC's Pedro Augusto Mesquita. Gildo Donatello struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Gil Teixeira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Napas FC.
