In the 4th minute, Francisco Torres hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cipriano Donato in the 6th minute of play forced EVERTON 1989 FC's goalkeeper Gil Teixeira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Silvinho Proença made a fantastic save in the 8th minute, when Naldo Mangueira sent off a good shot on target. Igor Hermes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gil Teixeira read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 9th minute of play. After 15 minutes of play, Seven Hell's Igor Hermes made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gil Teixeira was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, EVERTON 1989 FC's Paulinho Andrade got a free kick in the 21st minute. If Magno Lira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 46th minute, EVERTON 1989 FC's Nilson Bezerra dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

55 minutes into the match, EVERTON 1989 FC's goal looked a bit too open when Magno Lira came free, but Gil Teixeira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 58th minute, Magno Lira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 64 minutes into the match, EVERTON 1989 FC's goalkeeper Gil Teixeira had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Igor Hermes. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Magno Lira managed to get in a good position for a shot. Seven Hell's supporters rose to their feet, but Magno Lira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gil Teixeira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 66 minutes, Chico Ortiz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the EVERTON 1989 FC and the Seven Hell players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 66th minute, Chico Ortiz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 69 minutes into the game, Denílson Reis was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Seven Hell's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave EVERTON 1989 FC the free kick. After 69 played minutes Seven Hell got a freekick which was hit by Denílson Reis. Gil Teixeira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Magno Lira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Silvinho Proença made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nilson Bezerra in the 73rd minute of play. If Naldo Mangueira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Seven Hell's Denílson Reis got his second yellow card of the match in the 77th minute. The referee ordered Denílson Reis off the ground. After a rather tough play, Seven Hell's Denílson Reis got a free kick in the 78th minute. Nilson Bezerra scored 2-1 in the 83rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Silvinho Proença, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 96 minutes into the match, EVERTON 1989 FC's goalkeeper Gil Teixeira had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Igor Hermes. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
