The audience thought a goal was coming when Eusébio Bueno got free with Gil Teixeira in the 6th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gil Teixeira didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 12th minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. Eusébio Bueno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gil Teixeira having to interfere. In the 21st minute of the match, Antônio Carlos Paiva tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Gil Teixeira saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Jantus FC's Osvaldo Netto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Naldo Mangueira in the 23rd minute of play. Gustavo Vinhas might have been able to make a better finish in the 28th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gil Teixeira. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gustavo Vinhas ran back to his position shaking his head. When Tony Toledo fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored EVERTON 1989 FC's protests and gave Tony Toledo a yellow card for diving instead. Tony Toledo kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Eusébio Bueno received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Gil Teixeira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Jantus FC booed when EVERTON 1989 FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nilson Bezerra didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Eusébio Bueno made a kick off. When the match had gone on for 54 minutes, Eusébio Bueno put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Gil Teixeira. Gil Teixeira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eusébio Bueno in the 79th minute of the match. Eusébio Bueno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gil Teixeira having to interfere. A collision led to Jantus FC getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Gustavo Vinhas hit a great ball. Gil Teixeira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eusébio Bueno, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. 95 minutes into the match, Eusébio Bueno notched a goal, 4-3, to the right of EVERTON 1989 FC's Gil Teixeira. Gil Teixeira was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. There was no doubt that Jantus FC were the better team. Jantus FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
