In the 4th minute of the match, Oscar do Valle tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Hélder Meireles saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Rui Bastos in the 7thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Hélder Meireles, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Emanuel Amorim kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. After having played for 8 minutes, Carlinhos Matorin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Antoniao SS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Carlinhos Matorin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Marcelo de Barros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hélder Meireles showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oscar do Valle, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Oscar do Valle managed to get in a good position for a shot. Antoniao SS's supporters rose to their feet, but Oscar do Valle was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hélder Meireles breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Oscar do Valle in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hélder Meireles prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 18th play minute Marcelo de Barros came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Hélder Meireles. 1-0. 21 minutes into the game, Oscar do Valle cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Hélder Meireles was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Tarcisio Gomes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Simão Ribeiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Oscar do Valle scored 3-0 in the 32nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hélder Meireles, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The referee gave Antoniao SS a penalty, 38 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Carlinhos Matorin, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Sport Club Exposão's Hélder Meireles. 4-0. 41 minutes into the match, Oscar do Valle dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Hélder Meireles, 5-0. In the 45th minute Oscar do Valle shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hélder Meireles saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Oscar do Valle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. João Francisco Braga was the one to do the kick off. Hélder Meireles came out of the goal and Marcelo de Barros tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hélder Meireles showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oscar do Valle in the 58th minute of the match. In the 60th match minute, Sport Club Exposão was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristóvão Novaes to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Sport Club Exposão's zone, Oscar do Valle stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hélder Meireles came out of the goal and Oscar do Valle tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Marcelo de Barros kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Hélder Meireles took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcelo de Barros, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dráusio Salles kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Hélder Meireles showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcelo de Barros in the 86th minute of the match. In the 87th minute, Marcelo de Barros left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Antoniao SS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-0. In the 97th minute, Rui Bastos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the referee ended the match the Antoniao SS players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
