Spectators: 6664 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1664, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Amadeu Baiano took the kick off in the first half of the match. Luizinho de Amorim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amadeu Baiano, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. In the 15th minute the ball was on its way in behind Delfino SC's goalkeeper Osvaldo de Almeida, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of OROBORO F.C booed when Delfino SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Frédson Faria didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Valdomiro Trigo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 32 played minutes Delfino SC got a freekick which was hit by Zé Carlos Sousa. Osvaldo de Almeida showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valdomiro Trigo, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Delfino SC's Osvaldo de Almeida played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Giovani Fernandes in the 35th minute of play. In the 39th minute, Amadeu Baiano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Tarcisio Teles fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luizinho de Amorim having to interfere. 1-0 became the score in the 60th minute when Amadeu Baiano elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 65th minute the ball was on its way in behind Delfino SC's goalkeeper Osvaldo de Almeida, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Valdomiro Trigo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Delfino SC's Osvaldo de Almeida played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Giovani Fernandes in the 70th minute of play. Osvaldo de Almeida showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Giovani Fernandes in the 71st minute of the match. In the 73rd match minute, Delfino SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Frédson Faria to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, OROBORO F.C's Fabrício Pimenta got a free kick in the 79th minute. Amadeu Baiano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Giovani Fernandes in the 91st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Osvaldo de Almeida prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 93rd minute Amadeu Baiano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luizinho de Amorim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Valdomiro Trigo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Osvaldo de Almeida having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Delfino SC had won after a very even match.
