In the 6th minute of the match Kléberson Mazza sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Claudinho Loureiro skillfully saved the ball. Claudinho Loureiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Renatinho Damião in the 20th minute of the match. Edmílson França hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Válter Sá fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Válter Quadros having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Jojoca FC's zone, Geovânio Simões stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Claudinho Loureiro came out of the goal and Geovânio Simões tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Claudinho Loureiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Renatinho Damião in the 27th minute of play. 28 minutes into the game, Real Andradas's Geovânio Simões nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Claudinho Loureiro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Geovânio Simões sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 35th minute, Marcelinho Pirani fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Renatinho Damião sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The supporters of Jojoca FC booed when Real Andradas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edmílson França didn't get a good kick on the ball. After the first half Real Andradas were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Renatinho Damião made a kick off. In the 51st minute Renatinho Damião shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claudinho Loureiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Claudinho Loureiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Renatinho Damião in the 55th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Renatinho Damião in the 57th minute of play forced Jojoca FC's goalkeeper Claudinho Loureiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Claudinho Loureiro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Geovânio Simões in the 63rd minute. Renatinho Damião sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Válter Quadros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcelinho Pirani, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Válter Sá received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Válter Quadros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Geovânio Simões sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 82nd minute, Real Andradas's Renatinho Damião ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Claudinho Loureiro. Claudinho Loureiro yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-3. Marcelinho Pirani fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Válter Quadros having to interfere. If Renatinho Damião had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 96th minute, Marcelinho Pirani left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Jojoca FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. The Real Andradas supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Real Andradas would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
