After 12 minutes of play, Riva’s Jaguar On The Back's Emílio Magalhães made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Osvaldo de Almeida was left in no man's land by his defense there! Sílvio Fontes made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Tarcisio Teles sent off a good shot on target. Emílio Magalhães received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Osvaldo de Almeida tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 34 minutes into the match, Guilherme da Silveira had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Osvaldo de Almeida. Delfino SC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Guilherme da Silveira was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. In the 37th minute, Vânderson Donato hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Emílio Magalhães in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Osvaldo de Almeida prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Özal Paye made the kick off in the second half. When the match had gone on for 55 minutes, Emílio Magalhães put it in 0-5 from a short distance just to the right of Osvaldo de Almeida. The crowd rose to their feet as Özal Paye kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Osvaldo de Almeida. That made the score 0-6 in the 59 minute of play. After a rather tough play, Delfino SC's Vânderson Donato got a free kick in the 78th minute. In the 84th minute Lino Soeiro suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. After 84 minutes, Vânderson Donato mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Delfino SC and the Riva’s Jaguar On The Back players grew even worse after the yellow card. Vânderson Donato hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Osvaldo de Almeida was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Emílio Magalhães showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-8 in the 86 minute of play. When the match was over Riva’s Jaguar On The Back could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Delfino SC throughout the match.
