In the 14th minute, one of Micaelos F C:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Micaelos F C. After a defensive mix-up in ALVORADA ESPORTE CLUBE's zone, Pedro Augusto Rodrigues stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nando Mendes came out of the goal and Pedro Augusto Rodrigues tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nando Mendes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Betão Araújo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pedro Augusto Rodrigues received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Nando Mendes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nando Mendes came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by Micaelos F C's Betão Araújo. But to his dismay, Betão Araújo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pedro Augusto Rodrigues in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nando Mendes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Nando Mendes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Betão Araújo, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. 35 minutes into the match, ALVORADA ESPORTE CLUBE's goal looked a bit too open when Betão Araújo came free, but Nando Mendes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Pedro Augusto Rodrigues managed to get in a good position for a shot. Micaelos F C's supporters rose to their feet, but Pedro Augusto Rodrigues was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. In the 60th match minute, Micaelos F C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Betão Araújo to maneuver through the defense. Micaelos F C played a much better game than ALVORADA ESPORTE CLUBE and deserved their victory. The ALVORADA ESPORTE CLUBE players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
