Spectators: 7238 (Terracing: 5430, Seating: 1665, VIP seats: 143) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Jorginho Prata got the match started through his kick off. Jorginho Prata received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Albertinho Macedo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Noel Zanette kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. After having played for 12 minutes, Manfredo Matorin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Entremontes's supporters crossed their fingers, but Manfredo Matorin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Willian Reis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Doriva de Queirós in the 18th minute of the match. Entremontes's Albertinho Macedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jorginho Prata in the 23rd minute of play. Doriva de Queirós fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Willian Reis having to interfere. Jorginho Prata sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 39 minutes, Perivaldo Chaves mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Suits and the Entremontes players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Suits's Perivaldo Chaves got a free kick in the 39th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Noel Zanette during the 41st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 42 played minutes Entremontes got a freekick which was hit by Noel Zanette. Albertinho Macedo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jorginho Prata, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Doriva de Queirós stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Manfredo Matorin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Willian Reis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Doriva de Queirós in the 57th minute of play forced Suits's goalkeeper Willian Reis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jorginho Prata recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 61st minute, Perivaldo Chaves hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Entremontes's Noel Zanette got his second yellow card of the match in the 64th minute. The referee ordered Noel Zanette off the ground. Noel Zanette kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Albertinho Macedo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jorginho Prata, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. In the 67th match minute, Entremontes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Umberto Mattos to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Entremontes's Albertinho Macedo got control of the ball when Sílvio Luís Vargas tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Sílvio Luís Vargas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 91st minute Jorginho Prata shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Albertinho Macedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
