In the 11th minute the ball was on its way in behind Londrina EC's goalkeeper Téo Ramos, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 19 minutes of play, Londrina EC's Carlinhos Santos made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Richard Rezende was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a little luck, Londrina EC's Téo Ramos got control of the ball when Júlio Vander tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Pedro Augusto Rodrigues had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 27th minute Betão Araújo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Téo Ramos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Agnaldo Corrêa fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Londrina EC's protests and gave Agnaldo Corrêa a yellow card for diving instead. Agnaldo Corrêa hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Betão Araújo was extremely unlucky when he, in the 40th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Londrina EC's Téo Ramos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Betão Araújo in the 44th minute of play. Téo Ramos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Betão Araújo in the 46th minute of play. If Betão Araújo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Betão Araújo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The Micaelos F C fans' excitement grew in the 54th match minute when Micaelos F C's Dedé de Lima looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 60th minute Júlio Vander shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Téo Ramos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 61 minutes into the match, Londrina EC's goal looked a bit too open when Betão Araújo came free, but Téo Ramos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Júlio Vander took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 71st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Téo Ramos. Londrina EC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 73rd match minute, Micaelos F C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by João Carlos Furtado to maneuver through the defense. 74 minutes into the match, Micaelos F C's goalkeeper Richard Rezende had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Carlinhos Santos. In the 84th minute, Betão Araújo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Téo Ramos was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. If Betão Araújo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlinhos Santos in the 96th minute of play forced Micaelos F C's goalkeeper Richard Rezende to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee ended the match the Micaelos F C players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
