Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Valdir Velasco started the match with the kick off. Dagoberto Amaral showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tadeu Catarinense in the 3rd minute of the match. Ricardo Sarmento recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valdir Velasco in the 9th minute of play forced Mensaleiros F. C's goalkeeper Sidnei Paranaense to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sidnei Paranaense showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valdir Velasco in the 10th minute of the match. 16 minutes into the match, Teotonio's goal looked a bit too open when Diamantino Paraíba came free, but Dagoberto Amaral reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Teotonio getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Chico Melo hit a great ball. Tadeu Catarinense sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sidnei Paranaense made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valdir Velasco in the 21st minute of play. After a rather tough play, Teotonio's Tostão Arósio got a free kick in the 25th minute. If Tadeu Catarinense had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Diamantino Paraíba blasted a shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dagoberto Amaral having to make a save. Tadeu Catarinense received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Dagoberto Amaral tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tadeu Catarinense sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 40 minutes into the match, Teotonio's Ricardo Sarmento sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sidnei Paranaense narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 42ndth minute of the game Valdir Velasco who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mensaleiros F. C's Sidnei Paranaense was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The audience was convinced that Valdir Velasco's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sidnei Paranaense was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. Ricardo Sarmento recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. C's Diogo Vieira got a free kick in the 61st minute. After 64 played minutes Tadeu Catarinense rounded Teotonio's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-1. Mensaleiros F. C's Pedrão Favoretto took a good shot, in the 69th minute, which hit the crossbar above Dagoberto Amaral's head, and flew over the goal. Teotonio's manager was very thankful on the sidelines as his team had managed to keep the ball out of the net after some serious pressure by Mensaleiros F. C. Nico Paranaense charged in rather forcefully in the 71st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nico Paranaense the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 71st match minute, Teotonio was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nico Paranaense to maneuver through the defense. After 76 minutes Teotonio's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Pedrão Favoretto who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Mensaleiros F. C's Pedrão Favoretto to fire away a dangerous shot which Dagoberto Amaral despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Mensaleiros F. C's zone, Valdir Velasco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sidnei Paranaense came out of the goal and Valdir Velasco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sidnei Paranaense took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valdir Velasco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sidnei Paranaense showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ricardo Sarmento in the 88th minute of the match. In the 89th minute, Valdir Velasco made a precise shot to the right of Sidnei Paranaense. Mensaleiros F. C's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Sidnei Paranaense showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valdir Velasco, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
