Luiz Fábio Melo hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Renatinho Berger received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Enéas Tróia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 32 minutes into the match, Vitório Miranda had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Joel Jacinto. Missioneiro F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Vitório Miranda was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Vitório Miranda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joel Jacinto having to interfere. Joel Jacinto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vitório Miranda, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. 40 minutes into the match, Renatinho Berger had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Enéas Tróia. Iguaçu Football Club's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Renatinho Berger was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nelsinho Sousa to make the kick off. After 82 played minutes Vitório Miranda rounded Missioneiro F.C.'s defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-2. In the 94th minute Renatinho Berger shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Enéas Tróia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Missioneiro F.C. booed when Iguaçu Football Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. João Francisco Branco didn't get a good kick on the ball. Missioneiro F.C.'s Diogo Monteiro couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 97th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Iguaçu Football Club. Iguaçu Football Club's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
