Tadeu Catarinense started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erasmo Prata in the 8th minute of play forced Mensaleiros F. C's goalkeeper Sidnei Paranaense to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tadeu Catarinense sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Coroata's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Tadeu Catarinense 18 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. Diamantino Paraíba sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Maicon Rezende sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 25th minute of the match Maicon Furlan sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sidnei Paranaense skillfully saved the ball. Erasmo Prata sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 35th minute, one of Mensaleiros F. C:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Mensaleiros F. C. Erasmo Prata struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Sidnei Paranaense didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Coroata. Coroata's Erasmo Prata got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Mensaleiros F. C's Basílio Recife got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Erasmo Prata received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Sidnei Paranaense tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Maicon Rezende to strike the kick off in the second half. In the last second Sidnei Paranaense throw himself and got hold of the ball when Dorival Batista in the 55thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Sidnei Paranaense didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Erasmo Prata went, in the 58th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Erasmo Prata managed to get in a good position for a shot. Coroata's supporters rose to their feet, but Erasmo Prata was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sidnei Paranaense breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ismael Romero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tadeu Catarinense in the 70th minute of the match. The supporters of Mensaleiros F. C booed when Coroata was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dorival Batista didn't get a good kick on the ball. Diamantino Paraíba received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Ismael Romero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pedrinho Carneiro got free with Sidnei Paranaense in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Coroata's Erasmo Prata came free and shot a quick shot against goal 76 minutes in the game, fortunately Sidnei Paranaense had problems saving as it came toward the left post. Ismael Romero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tadeu Catarinense, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Mensaleiros F. C getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Basílio Recife hit a great ball. Maicon Rezende recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 92nd minute, Erasmo Prata got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Erasmo Prata fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sidnei Paranaense having to interfere. Erasmo Prata could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 96th minute of the match, but Sidnei Paranaense made a huge save. Coroata were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
