The attack was good, but when Maicon Rezende in the 20th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Maicon Rezende fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elias Mesquita having to interfere. In the 29th minute of the match Jardel Breckenfeld sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Elias Mesquita skillfully saved the ball. Maicon Rezende sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dito Branco's late challenge caught a Coroata's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dito Branco helped the player get up and apologised. Dito Branco kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. In the 33rd match minute, Coroata was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dorival Batista to maneuver through the defense. After 34 played minutes, Caripare SC's Cássio Arruda shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ismael Romero came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Caripare SC reached it. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when André Luís Freitas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Caripare SC's Elias Mesquita played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maicon Rezende in the 85th minute of play. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance!
