In the 57th minute Dida Montenegro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Enéas Tróia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpected shot in the 59th minute by Claudinei Domingues got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After some careless play in the Iguaçu Football Club defense, Gilmar de Alcântara kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Enéas Tróia. The Iguaçu Football Club fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Enéas Tróia should have stopped the shot. Marcus Montenegro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vitório Miranda in the 78th minute of play. Gilmar de Alcântara received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Enéas Tróia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 84 minutes, Claudinei Domingues managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. RUBRONEGRO CRF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Claudinei Domingues was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 89th minute, Gilmar de Alcântara fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Enéas Tróia, passed just outside the right post. In the 93rd minute Claudinei Domingues shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Enéas Tróia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. RUBRONEGRO CRF were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
