After having played for 5 minutes, Oséas Garcia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Crixas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Oséas Garcia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Oséas Garcia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match clock showed 15 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Oséas Garcia sped through Cancela's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Arnaldo Trigo. Vladimir Trigo kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Oséas Garcia's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Arnaldo Trigo was relentless in the 27th minute of the game. Crixas's Benê Faustino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alex França in the 32nd minute of play. After 34 minutes, Agenor Coutinho mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Crixas and the Cancela players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 34 played minutes Crixas got a freekick which was hit by Agenor Coutinho. 36 minutes into the game, Artur Brodel was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Crixas's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cancela the free kick. The crowd rose to their feet as Vladimir Trigo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Benê Faustino. That made the score 2-1 in the 39 minute of play. Oséas Garcia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Oséas Garcia to make the kick off. The audience was convinced that Oséas Garcia's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Arnaldo Trigo was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. With his leg Arnaldo Trigo managed to avoid a goal in the 55thth minute, when Crixas's Oséas Garcia fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 59 played minutes, Cancela's Tomás Sá shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Benê Faustino came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Cancela reached it. A hard shot 62 in the game by Oséas Garcia from a close distance when the talented Arnaldo Trigo managed to make a qualified save. Cancela's players were relieved. In the 80th minute Alex França shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benê Faustino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cancela's Arnaldo Trigo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oséas Garcia in the 84th minute of play. Oséas Garcia could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Arnaldo Trigo made a huge save. Arnaldo Trigo made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Oséas Garcia sent off a good shot on target. If Oséas Garcia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alex França fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benê Faustino having to interfere. Many of Crixas's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Crixas may have spent more time on the ball, but Cancela were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
