RUBRONEGRO CRF's Marcus Montenegro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kaká Cavalcante in the 9th minute of play. Marcus Montenegro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kaká Cavalcante in the 11th minute of the match. In the 11th minute, Celsinho Linhares hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Tigre FC's Kaká Cavalcante in the 15th minute got a chance for a shot 15th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. With a left leg Marcus Montenegro saved RUBRONEGRO CRF from getting behind. After having played for 19 minutes, Juninho Neiva managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tigre FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Juninho Neiva was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Claudinei Domingues in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marcel Trigo saved Tigre FC from getting behind. Kaká Cavalcante took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marcus Montenegro. Marcus Montenegro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. If Gilmar de Alcântara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Claudinei Domingues had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marcel Trigo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claudinei Domingues in the 39th minute of play. A collision led to Tigre FC getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Erivaldo Gaúcho hit a great ball. If Gilmar de Alcântara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The RUBRONEGRO CRF players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Tigre FC were winning 0-1.

In the 60thth minute of the game Claudinei Domingues who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tigre FC's Marcel Trigo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Claudinei Domingues managed to get in a good position for a shot. RUBRONEGRO CRF's supporters rose to their feet, but Claudinei Domingues was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcel Trigo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 69th minute, Kauã Palmeira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Erivaldo Gaúcho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kaká Cavalcante sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 78thth minute of the game Erivaldo Gaúcho who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but RUBRONEGRO CRF's Marcus Montenegro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.
