Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Maicon Rezende took the kick off in the first half of the match. Chico Melo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Ismael Romero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Teotonio getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Caco Guedes hit a great ball. 12 minutes into the match, Teotonio's goal looked a bit too open when Maicon Rezende came free, but Dagoberto Amaral reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 12 minutes into the game, Coroata's Maicon Rezende nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dagoberto Amaral made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Ismael Romero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valdir Velasco in the 19th minute of play. When Tostão Arósio fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Teotonio's protests and gave Tostão Arósio a yellow card for diving instead. In the 20th minute, Tostão Arósio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Ricardo Sarmento had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Erasmo Prata sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 29 minutes into the match, Teotonio's Valdir Velasco sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ismael Romero narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 31stth minute of the game Valdir Velasco who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Coroata's Ismael Romero was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Valdir Velasco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Ismael Romero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 36 minutes, Maicon Rezende managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Coroata's supporters crossed their fingers, but Maicon Rezende was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 44th minute, Erasmo Prata left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Coroata fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. 48 minutes into the game, Valdir Velasco recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ismael Romero. Valdir Velasco showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-2. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Valdir Velasco made the kick off in the second half. After having played for 55 minutes, Ricardo Sarmento managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Teotonio's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ricardo Sarmento was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Valdir Velasco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Ismael Romero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Valdir Velasco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Valdir Velasco in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ismael Romero saved Coroata from getting behind. Coroata's Maicon Rezende got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match clock showed 78 minutes, the score became 3-2 when Ricardo Sarmento sped through Coroata's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ismael Romero. Ricardo Sarmento fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ismael Romero having to interfere. Valdir Velasco might have been able to make a better finish in the 86th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ismael Romero. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Valdir Velasco ran back to his position shaking his head. 86 minutes into the match, Coroata's goal looked a bit too open when Valdir Velasco came free, but Ismael Romero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ricardo Sarmento recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 94th minute the ball was on its way in behind Coroata's goalkeeper Ismael Romero, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ricardo Sarmento recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ismael Romero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valdir Velasco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
