Spectators: 6663 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1663, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Nelsinho Sousa started the match with the kick off. The supporters of Missioneiro F.C. booed when Coroata was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pedrinho Carneiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 7th minute of the match Amílton Senna sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Joel Jacinto skillfully saved the ball. After 7 minutes, Mathias Silva mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Missioneiro F.C. and the Coroata players grew even worse after the yellow card. Mathias Silva kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Dorival Batista kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. In the 26th minute Maicon Rezende shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joel Jacinto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Erasmo Prata had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 30th minute, Dorival Batista hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maicon Rezende in the 34th minute of play forced Missioneiro F.C.'s goalkeeper Joel Jacinto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Maicon Rezende in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Joel Jacinto prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Coroata's Ismael Romero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nelsinho Sousa in the 42nd minute of play. Maicon Rezende recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Maicon Rezende received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Joel Jacinto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Erasmo Prata in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Joel Jacinto saved Missioneiro F.C. from getting behind. If Erasmo Prata had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ismael Romero made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Renatinho Berger sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Coroata getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Alexsandro Nogueira hit a great ball. In a very dangerous position, a player in Coroata fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 68th minute. Penalty! Diogo Monteiro shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Pedrinho Carneiro's late challenge caught a Missioneiro F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pedrinho Carneiro helped the player get up and apologised. In the 71st match minute, Coroata was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedrinho Carneiro to maneuver through the defense. In the 73rd minute Nelsinho Sousa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ismael Romero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
