The supporters of Mad Season FC booed when Clube Regatas Brasil was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elder Santos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mad Season FC's Sandrinho Soares got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Otávio Paulista recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Carlinhos Massa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Otávio Paulista in the 16th minute of the match. Sandrinho Soares was extremely unlucky when he, in the 19th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Clube Regatas Brasil's Carlinhos Massa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Otávio Paulista in the 21st minute of play. Sandrinho Soares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlinhos Massa having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adilson Vale in the 33rd minute of play forced Mad Season FC's goalkeeper Neymar Levandovskiy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Mad Season FC defense, Adilson Vale kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Neymar Levandovskiy. The Mad Season FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Neymar Levandovskiy should have stopped the shot. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Adilson Vale to make the kick off. 53 minutes into the game, one of Clube Regatas Brasil:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Elder Santos was shown his second yellow card after 62 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Elder Santos kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Otávio Paulista in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Carlinhos Massa saved Clube Regatas Brasil from getting behind. A collision led to Clube Regatas Brasil getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Cafu Damião hit a great ball. Otávio Paulista received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Carlinhos Massa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 79 minutes into the game, Carlos Alberto Carvalho was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mad Season FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Clube Regatas Brasil the free kick. In the 79th match minute, Mad Season FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlos Alberto Carvalho to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Clube Regatas Brasil's zone, Otávio Paulista stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carlinhos Massa came out of the goal and Otávio Paulista tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Otávio Paulista had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Clube Regatas Brasil's zone, Sandrinho Soares stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carlinhos Massa came out of the goal and Sandrinho Soares tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 91st minute, Otávio Paulista left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mad Season FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. In the 96th minute, Adilson Vale hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mad Season FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
