A collision led to Sao Pao getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Ademar Sampaio hit a great ball. In the 6th minute, Sandrinho Soares got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Neymar Levandovskiy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dadá Santos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Carlos Alberto Carvalho's late challenge caught a Sao Pao's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Carlos Alberto Carvalho helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Mad Season FC's Carlos Alberto Carvalho got a free kick in the 18th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Mad Season FC's zone, Dadá Santos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Neymar Levandovskiy came out of the goal and Dadá Santos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 20th minute, Dagoberto Rocha got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sandrinho Soares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Régis Moura having to interfere. Sandrinho Soares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Régis Moura tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 31 played minutes Sao Pao got a freekick which was hit by Alfredo de Queirós. With his leg Régis Moura managed to avoid a goal in the 32ndth minute, when Mad Season FC's Sandrinho Soares fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Otávio Paulista was extremely unlucky when he, in the 36th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Régis Moura made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Otávio Paulista in the 43rd minute of play. Sandrinho Soaress short, quick shot in the 47thth minute got Régis Moura to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in.

The wind increased when Dadá Santos made the kick off in the second half. When Sandrinho Soares came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Mad Season FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sandrinho Soares couldn't finish the play. After 53 minutes, Tiago Gabriel Sabóia mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sao Pao and the Mad Season FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Régis Moura came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by Mad Season FC's Sandrinho Soares. But to his dismay, Sandrinho Soares quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. 63 minutes into the match, Sao Pao's goal looked a bit too open when Sandrinho Soares came free, but Régis Moura reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Otávio Paulista took the ball and in the 64 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Régis Moura. Régis Moura dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. 3-0 became the score in the 69th minute when Otávio Paulista elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After some careless play in the Sao Pao defense, Otávio Paulista kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Régis Moura. The Sao Pao fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Régis Moura should have stopped the shot. Otávio Paulista received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Régis Moura tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mad Season FC's Sandrinho Soares got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Otávio Paulista came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Mad Season FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Otávio Paulista couldn't finish the play. Régis Moura showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Otávio Paulista, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Mad Season FC's Sandrinho Soares got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dagoberto Rocha got free with Neymar Levandovskiy in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Sao Pao booed when Mad Season FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlos Alberto Carvalho didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sandrinho Soares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Régis Moura tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mad Season FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
