The referee ignored Club dei Fratelli's protests and gave Dudu Paes a yellow card for diving instead. Dudu Paes hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Armando Toscano's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 12thth minute, Antônio Carlos Leme skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. If Justo Bemabe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a rather tough play, Club dei Fratelli's Dudu Paes got a free kick in the 14th minute. In the 24th minute, Club dei Fratelli's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Justo Bemabe fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Armando Toscano struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Antônio Carlos Leme didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Campo Mourão Futebol Club. Campo Mourão Futebol Club's Justo Bemabe got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 31 minutes into the match, Club dei Fratelli's goal looked a bit too open when Armando Toscano came free, but Antônio Carlos Leme reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 34th minute Armando Toscano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Antônio Carlos Leme saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 35th minute, Antônio Carlos Pires hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Club dei Fratelli's Antônio Carlos Pires got a free kick in the 40th minute. Armando Toscano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Antônio Carlos Leme made a huge save. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

After 52 minutes of play, Campo Mourão Futebol Club's Miguel Alvarenga made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Antônio Carlos Leme was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Campo Mourão Futebol Club's Armando Toscano in the 57th minute got a chance for a shot 57th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Antônio Carlos Leme was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The Campo Mourão Futebol Club fans' excitement grew in the 70th match minute when Campo Mourão Futebol Club's Armando Toscano looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 7-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Armando Toscano in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Antônio Carlos Leme saved Club dei Fratelli from getting behind. Clemente Saldanha made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Adalberto Matorin sent off a good shot on target. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Armando Toscano in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Antônio Carlos Leme prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Campo Mourão Futebol Club walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
