Cascavel PR's Clemente Mangueira got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Talismã FC's Jânio de Andrade got a free kick in the 8th minute. If Jacinto Brodel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ian Porto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Murilo Araújo having to interfere. Gil Fernandez kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Clemente Mangueira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elano Pimenta having to interfere. After having played for 19 minutes, Clemente Mangueira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cascavel PR's supporters crossed their fingers, but Clemente Mangueira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 20th minute, Amadeu Vaz made a precise shot to the right of Elano Pimenta. Talismã FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Amadeu Vaz in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Elano Pimenta saved Talismã FC from getting behind. Elano Pimenta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Clemente Mangueira in the 26th minute of the match. If Clemente Mangueira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gil Fernandez blasted a shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Murilo Araújo having to make a save. Talismã FC's Ian Porto got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ian Porto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Elano Furlan struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Murilo Araújo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Talismã FC. Elano Pimenta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amadeu Vaz in the 44th minute of play. Clemente Mangueira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elano Pimenta having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

A collision led to Talismã FC getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Jânio de Andrade hit a great ball. Jânio de Andrade got his second yellow card in the match during the 64th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After 65 played minutes Talismã FC got a freekick which was hit by Jânio de Andrade. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ian Porto during the 67th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ian Porto hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Amadeu Vaz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gil Fernandez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Murilo Araújo having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Talismã FC's Ian Porto got a free kick in the 84th minute. 90 minutes into the game, Clemente Mangueira cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Elano Pimenta was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 92nd match minute, Talismã FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Igor Fantini to maneuver through the defense. The Talismã FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Cascavel PR's performance. The match ended with a win for Cascavel PR.
