Murilo Araújo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oscar Messias in the 34th minute of play. 36 minutes into the game, Ibrahy's Alfredão Marquez nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Murilo Araújo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. Armando Vieira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Murilo Araújo having to interfere. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Oscar Messias was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Cascavel PR's Vágner Pinho got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Michel Moraes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amadeu Vaz, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Clemente Mangueira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ibrahy's Oscar Messias got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gil Neiva hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Murilo Araújo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Armando Vieira in the 64th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Oscar Messias managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ibrahy's supporters rose to their feet, but Oscar Messias was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Murilo Araújo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Armando Vieira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cascavel PR's Murilo Araújo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save Cascavel PR from getting a goal against them. After 84 minutes, Oscar Messias mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ibrahy and the Cascavel PR players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Cascavel PR booed when Ibrahy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oscar Messias didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 95th play minute Armando Vieira came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Murilo Araújo. 1-4. When the match was over Ibrahy could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Cascavel PR throughout the match.
