Spectators: 7361 (Terracing: 5521, Seating: 1693, VIP seats: 147) Ihum's Adriano Carneiro started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of Ihum booed when Ibrahy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oscar Messias didn't get a good kick on the ball. 8 minutes into the game, Armando Vieira cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Murillo Carneiro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Armando Vieira was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 11th minute. Ibrahy's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Armando Vieira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Oscar Messias recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match clock showed 20 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Oscar Messias sped through Ihum's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Murillo Carneiro. 25 minutes into the game, Valdomiro Duarte was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ihum's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ibrahy the free kick. After having played for 27 minutes, Armando Vieira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ibrahy's supporters crossed their fingers, but Armando Vieira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Murillo Carneiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oscar Messias in the 31st minute of the match. Armando Vieira's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Murillo Carneiro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. In the 37th minute, Doriva Goiano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 40 minutes into the game, Armando Vieira cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Murillo Carneiro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Armando Vieira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Armando Vieira could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Murillo Carneiro made a huge save. In the 47th minute Doriva Goiano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Michel Moraes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Oscar Messias to strike the kick off in the second half. If Oscar Messias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Murillo Carneiro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Armando Vieira's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. Oscar Messias took the ball and in the 55 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Murillo Carneiro. Murillo Carneiro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Oscar Messias recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Oscar Messias came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Ibrahy fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Oscar Messias couldn't finish the play. After 61 played minutes Ihum got a freekick which was hit by Cesinha Pinheiro. If Armando Vieira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. In the 71st match minute, Ibrahy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Simão Quintal to maneuver through the defense. In the 73rd minute, Simão Quintal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Valdomiro Duarte was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 74th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Doriva Goiano got free with Michel Moraes in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Oscar Messias might have been able to make a better finish in the 83rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Murillo Carneiro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Oscar Messias ran back to his position shaking his head. Murillo Carneiro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Armando Vieira went, in the 85th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. Armando Vieira struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Murillo Carneiro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ibrahy. Alfredão Marquez kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. Michel Moraes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Doriva Goiano in the 96th minute. Ibrahy walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
