Durval Proença showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlos Augusto Fonseca in the 17th minute of the match. Washington Gomes's late challenge caught a Atletico LH's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Washington Gomes helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Atletico LH booed when Atlético Bavarariano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Washington Gomes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bernardo Macedo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Durval Proença having to interfere. In the 26th minute the ball was on its way in behind Atlético Bavarariano's goalkeeper Durval Proença, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Natalio Sanson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Atlético Bavarariano booed when Atletico LH was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Geovanni Coelho didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marcelo Donato, 45 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Natalio Sanson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Thomás Cerezo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 47th minute of play.

In the 54th minute, Natalio Sanson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 85thth minute of the game Natalio Sanson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Atletico LH's Thomás Cerezo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 86th minute Augusto Arce shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thomás Cerezo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Augusto Arce sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Atletico LH were victorious despite being under pressure from Atlético Bavarariano for much of the match.
