No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Jaya F.C - standy by's defense didn't have a chance, in the 62nd minute, when José Maria Proença scored to the left of an out of position João Vítor Bittencourt, making the score, 1-1. Eusébio Cavalcante showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gino de Queirós in the 69th minute of the match. Eusébio Cavalcante showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Álvaro Mangueira, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Álvaro Mangueira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eusébio Cavalcante having to interfere. Eusébio Cavalcante took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Álvaro Mangueira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
