Jairo Peixoto started the match with the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 2nd minute, Adilson Donato managed to get in a good position for a shot. UioFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Adilson Donato was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Giovanni Meireles breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jairo Peixoto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Mané Araújo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Marvel! eSports's zone, Diamantino Nóbrega stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Giovanni Meireles came out of the goal and Diamantino Nóbrega tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, UioFC's Luís Eduardo de Carvalho got a free kick in the 20th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jairo Peixoto in the 22nd minute of play forced UioFC's goalkeeper Mané Araújo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mané Araújo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jairo Peixoto in the 27th minute of the match. After 40 minutes UioFC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Franklin Gaspar who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Marvel! eSports's Franklin Gaspar to fire away a dangerous shot which Mané Araújo despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in UioFC's zone, Jairo Peixoto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mané Araújo came out of the goal and Jairo Peixoto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Adilson Donato was the one to do the kick off. Bernardo Lago charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bernardo Lago the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Bernardo Lago hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Marvel! eSports's Giovanni Meireles played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iuri Arce in the 56th minute of play. Jairo Peixoto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luís Fernando Paraibano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dráusio Saraiva took the ball and in the 70 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mané Araújo. Mané Araújo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Dráusio Saraiva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Afonso Cordeiro's late challenge caught a UioFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Afonso Cordeiro helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Marvel! eSports's Afonso Cordeiro got a free kick in the 76th minute. Jairo Peixoto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nelsinho Chaves during the 87th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 87 played minutes UioFC got a freekick which was hit by Nelsinho Chaves. Jairo Peixoto blasted a shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mané Araújo having to make a save.
