Marvel! eSports's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jairo Peixoto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 21 minutes into the match, Marvel! eSports's goal looked a bit too open when Elano Saldanha came free, but Giovanni Meireles reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 23rd minute, Jairo Peixoto ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fred Cabral was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. If Jairo Peixoto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Valdir Mello hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. A collision led to Marvel! eSports getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Bernardo Lago hit a great ball. Marvel! eSports's Giovanni Meireles proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save Marvel! eSports from getting a goal against them. Venezia's Nildo Pernambucano got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Venezia booed when Marvel! eSports was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernardo Lago didn't get a good kick on the ball. Natanael Sousa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Jairo Peixoto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marvel! eSports's Luís Fernando Paraibano got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jairo Peixoto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fred Cabral having to interfere. After the first half Marvel! eSports were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Elano Saldanha to strike the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Nildo Pernambucano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Venezia's supporters rose to their feet, but Nildo Pernambucano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Venezia's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Marvel! eSports the free kick. When the final whistle sounded Marvel! eSports left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Venezia.
