Spectators: 6644 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 144) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Alan Matorin started the match with the kick off. 10 minutes into the match, Sarutai EC's goal looked a bit too open when Alan Simões came free, but José Paulo Cardoso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alan Simões received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. José Paulo Cardoso came out and tried to block the shot, but Alan Simões slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 13th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alan Matorin in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mané Machado prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Falcão de Alcântara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice moves Egídio Arruda could shoot a difficult shot in the 22nd minute, which José Paulo Cardoso however easily saved by the left post. Iuri Sanches blasted a shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without José Paulo Cardoso having to make a save. Falcão de Alcântara received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Mané Machado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mané Machado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alan Matorin in the 29th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Alan Matorin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mané Machado was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. Mané Machado came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by Sarutai EC's Alan Matorin. But to his dismay, Alan Matorin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Luiz Fernando Vianna during the 40th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Luiz Fernando Vianna hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Egídio Arruda kicked well hit freekick during the 48th minute of the match.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alan Simões stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Mané Machado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ruy Quintal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 54 minutes into the match, Sarutai EC's goal looked a bit too open when Alan Simões came free, but José Paulo Cardoso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 59th minute of the match Luan Queirós sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but José Paulo Cardoso skillfully saved the ball. In the 60th minute, one of Sarutai EC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Sarutai EC. The referee gave Mosquitinho a penalty, 63 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Luan Queirós, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Sarutai EC's José Paulo Cardoso. 2-1. 67 minutes into the match, Sarutai EC's goal looked a bit too open when Alan Simões came free, but José Paulo Cardoso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. José Paulo Cardoso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alan Simões in the 91st minute of the match. Joaquim Secco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Mané Machado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Falcão de Alcântara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Many of Sarutai EC's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Sarutai EC may have spent more time on the ball, but Mosquitinho were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
