José Paulo Cardoso was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. José Paulo Cardoso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from José Maria Proença, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Alan Matorin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With his leg Eusébio Cavalcante managed to avoid a goal in the 29thth minute, when Sarutai EC's Alan Matorin fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Alan Matorin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Eusébio Cavalcante made a huge save. Sarutai EC's Joaquim Secco got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With his leg Eusébio Cavalcante managed to avoid a goal in the 35thth minute, when Sarutai EC's Alan Matorin fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. José Paulo Cardoso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rubens Lima, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eusébio Cavalcante made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Alan Matorin sent off a good shot on target. If Falcão de Alcântara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Benjamim Lira during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Eusébio Cavalcante came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by Sarutai EC's Alan Matorin. But to his dismay, Alan Matorin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. In the 54th minute the ball was on its way in behind Bemposta's goalkeeper Eusébio Cavalcante, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Reynaldo Maranhense's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 58thth minute, José Paulo Cardoso skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. A hard shot 58 in the game by Reynaldo Maranhense from a close distance when the talented José Paulo Cardoso managed to make a qualified save. Sarutai EC's players were relieved. Eusébio Cavalcante came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by Sarutai EC's Joaquim Secco. But to his dismay, Joaquim Secco quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Joaquim Secco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Eusébio Cavalcante made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alan Matorin in the 66th minute of play. José Paulo Cardoso made an important save on a dangerous shot by Reynaldo Maranhense in the 68th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by José Maria Proença in the 70th minute of play forced Sarutai EC's goalkeeper José Paulo Cardoso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 71 minutes into the match, Sarutai EC's goal looked a bit too open when José Maria Proença came free, but José Paulo Cardoso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Luiz Paulo Alagoano fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sarutai EC's protests and gave Luiz Paulo Alagoano a yellow card for diving instead. In the 75th minute, Joaquim Secco got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience was convinced that Alan Matorin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eusébio Cavalcante was relentless in the 80th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alan Matorin in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eusébio Cavalcante prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 88 minutes of play, Sarutai EC's Alan Matorin made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eusébio Cavalcante was left in no man's land by his defense there! The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by José Maria Proença during the 93rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 93rd match minute, Bemposta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by José Maria Proença to maneuver through the defense. 94 minutes into the match, Alan Matorin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Eusébio Cavalcante. Bemposta's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alan Matorin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-1. Sarutai EC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
