Spectators: 6661 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1661, VIP seats: 0) Sarutai EC's José Paulo Cardoso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by José Maria Proença in the 6th minute of play. Eusébio Cavalcante took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joaquim Secco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Bemposta's zone, Falcão de Alcântara stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eusébio Cavalcante came out of the goal and Falcão de Alcântara tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. José Paulo Cardoso came out of the goal in the 16th minute to try and stop a shot by Bemposta's Reynaldo Maranhense. But to his dismay, Reynaldo Maranhense quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. 20 minutes into the game, Sarutai EC's Falcão de Alcântara nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Eusébio Cavalcante made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. In the 23rd minute José Maria Proença shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but José Paulo Cardoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. José Paulo Cardoso made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Rubens Lima sent off a good shot on target. 27 minutes into the match, Alan Matorin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Eusébio Cavalcante. Bemposta's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alan Matorin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. If Alan Matorin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 40th minute, Ruy Quintal left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sarutai EC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-4.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for José Maria Proença to strike the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Bemposta's goalkeeper Eusébio Cavalcante had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alan Matorin. 55 minutes into the match, Bemposta's goal looked a bit too open when Ruy Quintal came free, but Eusébio Cavalcante reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Falcão de Alcântara in the 58th minute of play forced Bemposta's goalkeeper Eusébio Cavalcante to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eusébio Cavalcante made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alan Matorin in the 59th minute. A hard shot 60 in the game by Alan Matorin from a close distance when the talented Eusébio Cavalcante managed to make a qualified save. Bemposta's players were relieved. The corner led Sarutai EC's Gerson Hoffmann to fire away a dangerous shot which Eusébio Cavalcante despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Eusébio Cavalcante was out of position in the 63 minute of play, and Alan Matorin capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Alan Matorin really showed his touch with that goal: 1-5. After 67 minutes, Vinícius Neves mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bemposta and the Sarutai EC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 67th match minute, Bemposta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vinícius Neves to maneuver through the defense. In the 68th minute, Luiz Paulo Alagoano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. José Paulo Cardoso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Reynaldo Maranhense, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alan Matorin in the 74th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eusébio Cavalcante prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 76 minutes into the match, Sarutai EC's goal looked a bit too open when Vinícius Neves came free, but José Paulo Cardoso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 78th minute Alan Matorin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eusébio Cavalcante saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alan Matorin took the ball and in the 81 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eusébio Cavalcante. Eusébio Cavalcante dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-6. After some careless play in the Bemposta defense, Alan Matorin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eusébio Cavalcante. The Bemposta fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eusébio Cavalcante should have stopped the shot. Sarutai EC's Alan Matorin was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 93rd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. When the final whistle sounded Sarutai EC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Bemposta.
