Spectators: 6667 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1667, VIP seats: 0) SE Martinica's Serginho Moreira started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute, José Maria Proença got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 4th match minute, SE Martinica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cléber Prestes to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, SE Martinica's Nelson Velloso got a free kick in the 7th minute. In the 13th minute Jefferson Tande shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eusébio Cavalcante saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Reynaldo Maranhense recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to SE Martinica getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Nelson Velloso hit a great ball. José Maria Proença kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. José Maria Proença sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 24th minute, Jefferson Tande got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 26th minute the ball was on its way in behind Bemposta's goalkeeper Eusébio Cavalcante, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 27th minute Jefferson Tande shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eusébio Cavalcante saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Serginho Moreira might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eusébio Cavalcante. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Serginho Moreira ran back to his position shaking his head. After a defensive mix-up in Bemposta's zone, Jefferson Tande stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eusébio Cavalcante came out of the goal and Jefferson Tande tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Serginho Moreira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 38th minute Jefferson Tande shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eusébio Cavalcante saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 40th minute, Serginho Moreira left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SE Martinica fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. When Reynaldo Maranhense came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Bemposta fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Reynaldo Maranhense couldn't finish the play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and José Maria Proença made a kick off. In the 54th minute, Jefferson Tande got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Serginho Moreira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eusébio Cavalcante having to interfere. In the 62nd minute, José Maria Proença hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had gone on for 66 minutes, Serginho Moreira took a quick shot and it went in 0-2 without a chance for Eusébio Cavalcante to make any attempt to save it. 69 minutes into the match, Bemposta's goal looked a bit too open when Serginho Moreira came free, but Eusébio Cavalcante reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 73 minutes into the game, Rubens Lima was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bemposta's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SE Martinica the free kick. Rubens Lima kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Eusébio Cavalcante showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Serginho Moreira in the 74th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 75 minutes, Serginho Moreira took a quick shot and it went in 0-3 without a chance for Eusébio Cavalcante to make any attempt to save it. Eusébio Cavalcante showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Serginho Moreira, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. José Maria Proença sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 91 minutes into the match, Bemposta's goalkeeper Eusébio Cavalcante had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jefferson Tande. In the 93rd minute, Reynaldo Maranhense left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bemposta fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. SE Martinica had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
