If Célio Trigo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Wiliam Pombal fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored AtlânticoBBS's protests and gave Wiliam Pombal a yellow card for diving instead. After 27 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for AtlânticoBBS! 31 minutes into the match, AtlânticoBBS's goal looked a bit too open when Célio Trigo came free, but Edu Gaúcho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Igor de Brito charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Igor de Brito the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Igor de Brito hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mathias Ceresso to make the kick off. In the 54th minute of the match Fantasma Futebol Clube got a corner. AtlânticoBBS's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Alfredo Carneiro ran over to the corner to take the kick. After a rather tough play, Fantasma Futebol Clube's Benjamim Falcão got a free kick in the 56th minute. After 58 minutes of play, Fantasma Futebol Clube's Alfredo Carneiro made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Edu Gaúcho was left in no man's land by his defense there! 62 minutes into the match, Fantasma Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Yan Mesquita had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pedro Paulo Neves. Alfredo Carneiro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Edu Gaúcho read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 63rd minute of play. José Sousa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yan Mesquita having to interfere. AtlânticoBBS's Edu Gaúcho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfredo Carneiro in the 89th minute of play.
